# Interaction principles

Creative AI experiences need clear boundaries.

## Characters, not hidden humans

Sleepless AI characters are fictional, AI-native identities. Their voices, images and responses may be generated or supported by AI and creative production. A character presentation should not be confused with a human operator or an independently conscious being.

## Personality with honest limits

* AI-generated answers may be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent. Verify important information elsewhere.
* Memory and personalization are product features with technical limits. A character’s story about remembering is not a promise of permanent storage or flawless recall.
* A promotional clip, simulated performance or character profile is not proof of an always-on autonomous service.
* Availability, moderation and interaction options can differ by product, region and release.

## Your wellbeing comes first

Companion and entertainment experiences are not a substitute for real-world support or qualified professional care. Do not rely on a character for emergency, medical, legal or financial decisions. If you need urgent help, contact an appropriate local service or trusted person.

## Privacy and control

Read the privacy notice and terms in the specific product before sharing personal information. Avoid sending passwords, private keys or other sensitive credentials. Check that product for its data retention, deletion and personalization options; available controls may differ between products and versions.

## Community and trust

We want participation to be welcoming and understandable. Official events should state their rules, timing and eligibility. Old campaigns do not create a standing promise of rewards for new activity.
